Candace J. Anderson grew up in Southern California where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Humboldt State University. She received her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in 2008. Candace worked for the Veterans Administration in California at the Redwoods Vet Center in Eureka, California as a therapist. She counseled veterans with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Military Sexual Trauma. She became a Certified Military Sexual Trauma Therapist while working at the Veterans Administration. In 2010, Candace also became a certified Addiction Counselor.
Candace specializes in treating individuals with Severe Trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Severe Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Depression, Substance Abuse and Eating Disorders. Candace has been trained in Prolonged Exposure for the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and is currently being trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

Candace moved to Montana in 2007 and opened her private practice in January 2013. She uses a compassionate, non-judgmental, reality based approach with her clients and often mixes in a bit of humor.
When Candace is not seeing clients she enjoys spending her time outdoors, fishing, hunting, riding horses, snowboarding, dancing and cooking.
